Born and raised in the Sutherland Shire, Carl has been helping clients achieve their dreams since 1995. Carl prides himself on providing a very personalised service to his clients and enjoys nothing more than working closely with them to meticulously plan out their future.
Carl is married with 3 beautiful daughters, which keeps him on his toes and provides some much needed perspective in such a busy business. Carl loves basketball, rugby league and cricket as well as his main sporting passion- golf, as a long term member of Cronulla Golf Club.
Jason has worked in chartered accounting practices over the past 25 years. He commenced his career at BDO, a large international accounting firm, where he gained not only an excellent foundation of knowledge about the industry but also acquired a level of professionalism that sets him apart from his competitors. In 1997 Jason commenced in public practice, and is now managing director of the Maher Group which incorporates Maher Partners Accountants as well as Mast Wealth. Over the past 17 years Jason has built a very successful business, based on integrity, communication, quality and proactive advice, together with his genuine care for his client’s financial well being. He advises clients in numerous areas including taxation, superannuation, business and estate planning and wealth creation.
Jason’s role with Mast Wealth will include overseeing the implementation of recommended strategies to ensure clients are achieving their financial and lifestyle objectives He is extremely passionate about this. Being an expert in the field of self managed superannuation, Jason provides Mast Wealth clients with a vast knowledge and experience in all taxation planning and super strategies that many SME’s have to resolve throughout their business lifecycle in particular towards retirement age. Jason is an extremely valuable resource for our financial planning clients to ensure their strategies will provide the best taxation outcomes possible.
Jason grew up in Cronulla and continues to be a resident where he has settled with his wife Jenni and 3 beautiful daughters Capri, Cassidy and Kobe.
Ben has worked in the finance sector for over 17 years with experience in both corporate and practice including spending 2 years working in the UK with a major multinational company. Ben is always driven to provide his clients with the knowledge and support to ensure they understand all the complexities of the taxation system, providing outcomes and solutions always in the best interest of his clients. Qualifications as a Chartered Accountant and Registered Tax Agent, Ben’s role within Mast Wealth is to provide valuable taxation support to Carl whenever required giving confidence to our clients in Mast Wealth’s knowledge across all financial planning and taxation matters.
Ben has spent his spare time helping his local surfclub volunteering for over the last 20 years patrolling the beach, competing in surfboat rowing and of late spending the last 7 years serving on the board of directors as the honorary finance director.
